It was nice while it lasted
Isabella has decided this week to start phasing out her morning nap. This has been quite the change for me. So goodbye excercising, reading the paper, blogging, and cleaning in peace and quiet every morning - it was nice while it lasted. It was bound to happen, I figured out that since she has been born, between sleeping at night and naps, she has gotten a minimum of 16 hours of sleep on the average day. And I don't know if this will last or not. Today, when I took her out of her high chair after dinner she laid her head down on my shoulder and was out like a light in about 2 minutes, she has never done that before! Although, if it does last, it will make it easier to go places. We won't have to try and cram everything in, between the morning and afternoon nap.

Madison has been phasing out her afternoon nap, which makes for a cranky child in the evening. I've been incorporating quiet time now, so that even if she doesn't sleep, she still has to have a period of time where she looks at books or plays quietly with her toys in her room. This still allows me to have a little break in the afternoon. Then she goes to bed early!
