Always my baby

She may not be a baby anymore, but she'll always be my baby.

My once, "I'm too busy to sit still" little girl has become a total cuddle bug. I am so happy to comply to "Mommy hold" and "Mommy rock" throughout the day. And even more, I am so happy to be at home with her, enjoying all these precious moments that will pass by too quickly. Although, not always the easiest financially, it has been the greatest blessing.
(In the picture she is pretending to be a baby - her new thing, she likes to pretend she's either a baby or a dog)

Too cute! I'm secretly looking forward to putting Charles to sleep this weekend when we're traveling because I get to lie down with him and watch him fall asleep - something we just don't do at home!

Awww, reminds me of the book I'll Love You Forever. I cry whenever I read it. If you have never read, I bet you'd love.

I was going to say:

I'll love you forever
I'll like you for always
As long as I'm living
My baby you'll be.

Lovely picture.

We don't have that book, but on a recent trip to Target I picked it up and read it for the first time. I was trying so hard not to cry there, but you girls just got me all choked up! Sniff, sniff . . .

Let me dry your tears. I just sang that little poem (as we do when we read the book), and Isaac says, 'Do we have that book with the toilet paper?'
