Spring Getaway!

This past Sunday through Tuesday we went on a mini vacation with Monte's parents. The temp on Sunday was 94! I could not believe how many people came up to us, upset with us that our kids were getting sun burned! But in reality, they were not sun burned, just hot! We had plenty of water, and tried to keep them in the shade as much as possible, and were only outside at the waterfalls for about an hour. My kids just get really rosy cheeked! Despite the rude comments and stares, we still had a great time. :) Oh, and is Jaymes in proper "form" in the Ergo here, does anyone know? This is the first time I've had him on my back, and he seemed uncomfortable. Maybe he just prefers to be in front, or maybe it was just the heat.

Rosy cheeked boy.

The highlight of the trip for Isabella, they went down this slide SO much!

Our little hand holder, he always has to hold one of our hands when we are outside now, or someplace different. That makes this mama happy (and relieved, and much less nervous about him darting off!). :)

Hmm, he seems low, but maybe he thinks he's a bit short to be on your back - he can't see much? Your chest clip seems high, though it might be more of a personal preference thing, not sure. I wondered if you could lower that down a little and tighten the shoulder straps to boost him up a little more? I don't wear Goosie much anymore, so I'm out of practice. :>) As always, love the pics!

My kids always get rosy cheeks too, especially when they are younger like your little guy. Ergo: I would just have someone pull his arms up over the straps. Sometimes mine would put their arms under though. And, were you comfortable? I find it should feel like giving a piggy back ride, with the use of my arms yet. I would probably lower the chest clip too, otherwise, it looked good! Certainly my favorite carrier for on the back!

Angela, I agree with tightening the shoulder straps, which should bring the chest clip down. You should feel comfortable with him on there.

Is this "my" Lisa, college roommate?! I love seeing my friends be friends! :)

Nelson feels weird on my back too. And the straps seem odd. Maybe I'm not wearing it right....
