Two Week Notice
That's what I gave my employer today!!! Yay! I'm trading in suits for sweats, I get to do what I have ALWAYS wanted to do - be a stay at home mom. When I handed my boss my resignation today she tried to entice me into staying, no thank you. The bank has been SO good to me, giving me over 6 months off (almost 3 months of bedrest and over 3 months of maternity leave) with no questions asked. They were so surprised when I actually came back that they gave me a raise and a bonus, so I have to admit that a tiny bit of me feels guilty since they have done such nice things for me. Our prayers have definitely been answered, Monte has a new job opportunity which is why I can stay home now (more on that another time, I'm too tired tonight). I can't wait to start my new "job"! I have a feeling it will be the best job I've ever had!!!

Oh Angela, I'm so excited for you! I had no idea that this was coming so soon for you. Yay for Monte's new job!
You're right, it is the best job ever. Now, Monte's job is closer to the East side of your home state, right? We have some houses for sale on our block. ;)
Will you continue to use your degree in teaching Isabella Spanish? I'm sure you already are -- and I'm waiting for the Spanish post someday. Come on, make Miss Hewett proud.
His job will eventually involve moving, but not too far from here. I would LOVE to live closer to you, Meredith.
I do read to Isabella in Spanish, and although she absolutely loves to be read to (in english), she's not so fond of the spanish language yet! You might be waiting a while on the Spanish post. :)
I am SO jealous! :) I can't wait until I can post something like this someday!
Okay, I'm happy for you, but also a bit jealous! I am counting the days until I get to turn in my two weeks. What a great and happy day for you and your whole family!
